As we age we battle more with our circadian clocks.
As we age we tend to become increasingly at odds with our circadian clocks.
Our eyes are less receptive to normal light cues needed to set the circadian rhythm and the brain experiences a gradual loss of the neurons that control circadian rhythm and sleep.
In addition as days get shorter and nights longer we tend to wake and get out of bed when its dark when our bodyclocks are telling us to continue sleeping!
As a result our internal bodyclocks get to be out of sync with the actual cycle of day and night sometimes by hours resulting in fatigue, moodiness, sleep diturnabces, drowsiness, irritability, food cravings, depression and a compromised immune system as well as difficulty waking or going to sleep.
SUNRISE ALARM CLOCKS create a dawn simulation with a gradually brightening light.
As the light from the SUNRISE ALARM CLOCK falls on to our shut eyes, it stimulates us to awaken naturally in complete harmony with our internal biological clocks, so we stay most active, energetic and alert during the day and restful and sleepy at night.
